CCC Welcomes New Youth Minister

Community Christian Church (CCC) is delighted to announce Mike Hopkins as our new Youth Minister, alongside his wife Jenna and their daughter Emryn. Mike is no stranger to CCC—he grew up in our church, his father served as a deacon, and his brother, Brian, is the drummer on our worship team. This homegrown connection brings a deep love for our congregation and a clear vision for the future of CC Teens.

Mike and Jenna arrive with a heart for discipleship and a plan to pair energetic programming with serious spiritual formation. The upcoming calendar features a full slate of weekly gatherings, service projects, retreats, and trips, as well as special events designed to help students build friendships, grow in their faith, and serve our community. In the months ahead, CC Teens will emphasize Bible engagement, prayer, mentorship, and leadership development, ensuring that students not only have a great time together but also take meaningful steps in their walk with Christ.

“New chapter” and “new heights” aren’t just slogans—Mike’s approach blends intentional teaching with hands-on experiences so students can live out what they learn. From small groups and worship nights to outreach opportunities and family-focused resources, the ministry will offer on-ramps for every student, whether they’re new to church or longtime members.

CCC is grateful for the faithfulness God has shown to our church family and excited to see how He will use Mike, Jenna, and Emryn in this next season. Please join us in welcoming the Hopkins family and praying for a powerful launch to the CC Teens year. Be on the lookout for registration details, event sign-ups, and calendars coming soon through our regular church communications.

Welcome home, Hopkins family—let’s go, CC Teens!
