we believe
One God
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
(John 14:9-20; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
GOD THE FATHER
God is the Creator of everything, seen and unseen. He is good, loving, and the giver of every good gift (Genesis 1; James 1:17; Matthew 5:45).
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin (Luke 1:26-35), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), died for our sins (Romans 5:15-17), rose from the dead (John 20:24-29), ascended into heaven, and will return one day in glory.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit lives in every believer—convicting, guiding, and empowering us to live for God
(John 16:8; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22-23).
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and is our final authority in all matters of life and faith (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:105; Matthew 24:35).
HUMAN LIFE &
IDentity
Every person is created in God’s image—sacred and with purpose from conception to natural death
(Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-16). God created us male and female, and this design is good and intentional.
MARRIAGE &
sEXUALITY
We believe marriage is between one man and one woman and that sex is a gift from God meant for marriage (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). Sexual activity outside of this design is sin.
the gospel
We believe all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and need Jesus for salvation. Forgiveness comes through His sacrifice—by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
salvation
-
Faith in Jesus (Romans 5:1)
-
Repentance from sin (Acts 3:19)
-
Confessing Christ (Romans 10:9)
-
Being baptized by immersion as commanded in Scripture (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4, Galatians 3:27, & 1 Peter 3:21).
the church
We believe the Church is made up of all believers and is expressed in local congregations (Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 16:18). As members of Christ’s body, Christians are called to gather regularly for worship and communion (Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26), to love, forgive, and encourage one another (Ephesians 4:2, 32), to use their gifts in service (1 Peter 4:10), to give generously (2 Corinthians 9:7), to submit to godly leadership and pursue holiness (Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 1:15), and to share the Gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).
